I am Joe, founder of RuggedDriving.com.

An engineer, farmer, offroad enthusiast, and self-taught mechanic; skills that have served me well this far.

The love for machinery goes way back to my teen years when I used to watch my pops mess around and fix farm machinery. Although unfortunate, his mishaps taught me one thing – machines always break down. But he’d mastered the art of performing repairs and maintenance affordably, a skill I picked up on. It wasn’t until I went to college and was freer that I fell in love with off-roading. One adventure with the crew in a Jeep, and I was hooked.

I’ve since gone on numerous adventures and had my fair share of ups and downs, failures, and victories. I started Ruggeddriving.com in 2021 to help other offroad enthusiasts by sharing my experiences, tools, equipment, and knowledge that has proven invaluable to me.

While I seek out adrenaline, I’m not a trained mechanic, but I try to provide accurate details. And although I’m not a native English speaker, I hope you can find value in my site.
